Unique to our placement process is the compatibility questionnaires we give to both families and nannies. Not only do these questionnaires allow us to refer candidates whose parenting philosophies and values are similar to your own, they also provide you with valuable information about your own parenting style.
We take the anxiety out of hiring a nanny by making certain that each candidate is safe, sound and mature enough to provide responsible, competent, and loving care for your child. We screen potential candidates thoroughly for character and compatibility. We require each candidate to complete an extensive written application including a comprehensive employment history and conduct an in-depth personal interview. We also require that each candidate pass the following background screenings:
- Reference checks
- Criminal record check
- Driving record review
- Infant/child CPR certification
- First Aid Certification
We speak to you personally to describe every potential nanny candidate in detail, and then we listen carefully to your feedback about each candidate you interview. We never pressure you to make a decision.
We provide valuable information about each step of the process, including defining your job description and preferences, guidelines for interviewing, becoming an employer, designing a daily journal, tips on maintaining a successful relationship with your nanny, and much more.
Once you have selected the nanny candidate you wish to hire, we present an offer on your behalf and mediate any negotiation necessary. And once final terms are agreed upon, we create a written employment agreement that clearly outlines all of the details of your position and your expectations so that misunderstandings are less likely in the future.
We provide ongoing support as you transition into becoming an employer by providing all the pertinent information you'll need to get your relationship off to the best start. And as long as you employ a nanny whom we've referred to you, we're always available as a resource for any questions or concerns that may come up during your working relationship.
Finally, we offer a 12 month replacement policy, in case you are not completely satisfied with the performance of the nanny you select.
